1 Introduction
During a no-obligation (telephone) conversation, we look at the solutions that the practice may be able to offer and make an appointment for an intake. During this intake, together with you and your child we look for the support question, possibly with test data from school. This conversation takes about 30 minutes. After this no-obligation conversation, you decide whether you choose RT-praktijk Doorwerth.
2 Assessment & action plan
The support question is now clear. It is important to have a picture of the level at which your child works in relation to the support question: which skills does your child master and which not yet. In consultation with you, I can contact your child’s school. When the picture is complete, an action plan can be drawn up containing the learning goals and the plan of approach. This is discussed with you and your child.
3 Guidance
Immediately after the intake, we start with the implementation. Guidance usually takes place once a week. A session lasts approximately 45 minutes. The guidance can take place at school or at RT-Praktijk Doorwerth. Preferably, the guidance takes place during school hours, because after school there must also be time for relaxation. The way in which schools cooperate with this differs.
4 Evaluation
During the twelfth session, we look together at how the guidance went and what the result is. This can be done with the help of a test and observations. We make a report that is discussed with you shortly after the last session in an evaluation conversation. During this conversation, it is also decided whether further guidance is necessary or whether we can complete the guidance.
