Remedial teaching at school
Guidance can take place at the primary school or at the practice. In consultation with parents and the school, we identify the support question, test results and learning goals so the action plan fits what the child needs in the classroom.
Support may focus on spelling, maths, reading comprehension, learning habits and executive functions. Where needed, progress can be discussed with the school.
Better in Class
Better in Class is intended for children aged 8 to 12 with weak executive functions. The programme supports attention, working memory, goal-directed behaviour and planning. Suzanne Verbaan is a trained Better in Class facilitator.
